These Akan symbols inspired artist and professor Charnelle Holloway in creating the pieces for pictured below. Charnelle, an art professor at Spellman College by day and an artisian in her spare time has produced some amazing pieces, a few of which are pictures below.

Dwennimmen - Horns of the RamSymbol of strength (in mind, body, and soul), humility, wisdom, and learning.

Gye Nyame - Except GodSymbol of the omnipotence, omnipresence, and immportality of God. "Except God, I fear none."
